Thankfulness...It’s a way of LIVING!

By Dr. Deborah Musso

We are an abundant nation! We have freedoms unknown throughout most of the world. We have the opportunity to pursue our dreams with nothing standing in our way except the ones that we ourselves impose. We have so much to be thankful for, and I’m thankful for the gift of the wellness protocol of Network Spinal Analysis and I am grateful for Sea Change New York, the center for connection, transformation and awakening. I’m thankful that I get to share this gift with you. This month’s Stress-Free Success Mastermind Team workshop is designed to focus our thoughts on gratitude.
While it’s true that nearly every single one of us could rattle off a huge list of hardships that we have faced throughout our lives and for each of those the pain, anger, frustration, and other feelings are very real. It’s important to keep in mind just how blessed we are and support ourselves into moving forward into our abundant future. A heart of thanks is a way of living that can impact everyone around you. Let’s come together in community to support and encourage one another to focus on the immense blessings that are ours today.
We make ourselves to be infinitely more attractive to others AND ourselves when we have an attitude of thankfulness. Therefore be thankful in all circumstances. Sometimes that may seem like a very difficult thing to do. And you know what, you’re absolutely RIGHT, it is very hard to do.
Those who go through life’s struggles with a heart open to learning and growing RARELY have to visit that life lesson again in their life. They see the present, not-so-likeable circumstances as a blessing and are thankful because they know that they will become better in the process. What about you?
Thankfulness comes from a heart that is over-flowing with abundance and love. Individuals who focus on being thankful in all circumstances have several common traits:
- Optimistic
- Determined
- Appreciative
- Non-judgmental
- Live life on their OWN terms
When you’re rushing around this Thanksgiving season and breaking bread with individuals, and entering into difficult situations, try having a heart of thankfulness for some aspect of who they are, find what works and is positive about them and focus on that. Perhaps you’re spending time in a stressful evaluation, but at least you’re home with a roof over your head, food on your table, and a wellness educator/coach who loves and appreciates YOU! A heart of thankfulness...what a way to be known and remembered forever!
We’re exploring more about thankfulness during our Stress-Free Success Mastermind Team meeting on November 8, 2006 at 7:15. It would be my absolute honor to have you join us! And please, bring the one person that you are most thankful for. How thankful we all can be. Let’s take that next step forward towards improving our resourcefulness together!
Thank you for being a part of my life and allowing me to join yours as well. In short, I am thankful for both you and the connection we share.
With Much Admiration,
Dr. Deborah Musso
